The Ashdown Grove has grown from a small circle of druid friends who have been
learning and practicing Druidry for around seven years. The Circle was formed at Samhain 2004 and
the Grove conceived at the Winter Solstice 2005. We predominantly celebrate the eight festivals of
the Celtic year together, sharing the leadership within the group to maintain a balance in a loving,
family oriented, freeform way.
We believe that everyone has something special to offer, from the children weaving
their way through circles, to a friendly hand on a shoulder. We are about respecting the world
around us, the communities we live in and each other.
Ceremonies are held both indoors and outdoors, in members houses, gardens, groves,
and, of course, the Ashdown Forest, which is in the heart of our Sussex landscape.
