Answers.Com
http://www.answers.com/topic/list-of-deities

Another list within a site devoted to worldwide pantheons with a one line description of each beside its hyperlink (scroll down the page to find the Celtic list). The information comes from a variety of online sources including Wikipedia so is comprehensive and wide-ranging. Links are included and starting from here can lead you down a long and interesting path!

Celtnet
http://www.celtnet.org.uk/celtic_gods.html

This page is part of a larger site on the Celtic Gods and contains a huge list of deities in alphabetical order. There is also a search feature which allows you to search by country, region and alternative names including Roman takeovers. The articles are quite scholarly and some may find them inaccessible for this reason. There are no Irish or Scottish deities on this site.

Celtic Pagan
http://www.celticpagan.com/celt/deities.htm

A short list of some Celtic deities. The information on each is selective but interesting and, again, more comprehensive in some sections than others.

Godchecker
http://www.godchecker.com/

This site describes itself as an online encyclopaedia of mythology. It covers many pantheons and is written in a ‘humorous’ style. This is not the place for in-depth research as the entries on many of the Celtic deities are minimal, but it could be a starting point as it lists alternative names for all of the deities it features. Some may find this site too simplistic.

Joelle's Sacred Grove
http://www.joellessacredgrove.com/Celtic/deities.html

Part of a larger site, these pages contain a fairly comprehensive list of deities, some with more detailed information than others. There are some interesting descriptions here, and some of the more obscure deities are listed.

Mandrake Press
http://www.mandrake-press.co.uk/Definitions/celticmythbeings.html

An extensive list of Celtic deities and heroes with some useful information about each. Some of the entries are heavily edited to keep them brief but some may find this truncation means that it is hard to get a sense of the deity in question.

The Order of Bards Ovates and Druids
http://www.druidry.org/obod/deities/

This page is in a table format which links deities from different pantheons by function. In terms of Celtic deities about fifteen have their own pages but the site encourages new additions from readers. The essays are good quality and accessible with lots of useful information. References are given.

Pantheon
http://www.pantheon.org

A site that catalogues deities in pantheons from around the world.

Seanachaidh's Grove
http://www.scns.com/earthen/other/seanachaidh/godcelt.html

A long list of Celtic deities with a small amount of information about each.

Timeless Myths
http://www.timelessmyths.com/

A well researched site containing a useful section on Celtic deities and their associated mythologies. It contains background information on the various ‘families’ of deities including genealogies and the hyperlinks within the text are great for linking related ideas. Additionally the site has a good bibliography listing all the author’s sources.

Wicca.Com
http://www.wicca.com/celtic/wicca/celtic.htm

A Wiccan site listing Celtic deities. The descriptions are short – no more than a list of attributes but some do include tips on pronunciation.

Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Celtic_deities

This list is a part of Wikipedia and subdivides the Celtic deities into groups which are linked to the relevant Wikipedia page. As is the case with Wikipedia the actual articles vary in both length and quality from a single sentence to detailed articles of academic quality with full references.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Celtic_mythology

This page is linked to the page described above but has other subcategories linked to it that some may find interesting. It covers the Celtic Mythology with deities as a subcategory and has some fascinating articles. As frequent users of Wikipedia may know it is more than possible to spend hours lost in this category checking out some of the more interesting articles!
