Statement of Equality

At The Druid Network, we believe that equality is an important cornerstone of Druidry and we recognise the value of diversity.  We are therefore committed to equality of opportunity within all walks of life.

We strive to ensure everyone is treated both honourably and with dignity and respect and solely on the basis of their merits, abilities, and potential - regardless of age, disability, marriage or civil partnership, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, nationality, race or ethnicity, religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic background, political beliefs and affiliations, family circumstances or other irrelevant distinction.

The Druid Network is a registered charity based in England and Wales and whilst we recognise and accept there are various protections available in UK and European law (see below), we believe that as Druids, we should not only hold to higher standards but also challenge any legislation when it doesn't go far enough, is archaic, or is simply ill-conceived.  In consequence The Druid Network opposes any legislation, court rulings, or customs that discriminate against any one group to the benefit or detriment of others.
