Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care
There are many issues in life that, when presented, can lead to frustration, anxiety and stress and a loss of inspiration and motivation. We know that working for TDN can sometimes feel like yet another commitment in an already over-stretched timetable. We believe in the importance of spiritual well being as an essential aspect of a healthy life and, collectively, of a healthy Network where members feel inspired rather than obliged to manage their commitments.
The Pastoral Team has been created for those who work for the Network, as Coordinators and Administrators. It augments the work-focused Care Teams and seeks to provide sensitive support, strength and understanding for the difficult times; times which may not be of the Network’s making, but that can lead to disillusionment or worry over the commitments of ones role. The team will listen when called to do so, and will try to advise or intervene when asked. However, we will never intrude uninvited, and any information shared with the team will be kept private and confidential.
Currently there are two members providing this service, Red and Autumn Song can both be contacted via the members pages and will endeavour to reply in a timely manner, you can contact them both or singly as you wish, and any information you disclose will be on a 'need to know' basis and will not be shared between them or with anyone else unless you wish it.
Our aim is to provide spiritual and pastoral care for members which is sensitive and appropriate to their needs. This is so that members can begin to find strength, support and meaning within the Network and ensure members feelings are valued and heard when situations arise that cause conflict and dissillousionment with the Network.
