Llwyn y Sêr (Grove of the Stars)

Llwyn y Sêr, the Grove of the Stars, is a small Grove of druids based in East Kent, near Canterbury.
We meet in a grove of ancient oak trees, one once cleaved to the base by lightning, and now healed to head height.
In the intense peace and magic of this place, we celebrate the eight festivals in a shamanic and largely Celtic way, with our rituals inspired by our visions, dreams and instincts.
The Grove is facilitated by Mark Williams, a priest of Brighid.
We have between five and ten members at any one gathering, though we are coming to prefer the closeness of intimate ritual. Our rituals are up in the Seasonal Rites section of TDN if you would like to get an idea of what we do. Sometimes we fail, fall, disappoint ourselves. Sometimes, hopefully often, we succeed, and find that ecstatic connection, that overwhelming, almost unbearable joy. In working with our Ancestors and the Spirits of Place, with each turn of the wheel we seek to go deeper, to learn more, to live our craft more richly.
