Sustain

Referred by the BBC website, we came across a website called Sustain : http://www.sustainweb.org/

The organisation's descriptive is The Alliance for Better Food and Farming, and its reach is broad. The information covers one of the most crucial range of issues that we face as individuals and communities living in Western culture, as citizens of our civilization, on this brink a very difficult future for ourselves and our children. It's an issue that is thick with ancestral songs: what do we eat and where do we get it?

We've placed their pdf here, for anyone who'd like to download it - Sustain pdf - and what we'd like here is your feedback. Why are these issues a part of Druidry, do you agree with all of them or challenge some of them, what can we as individuals do in this respect to help? Get in touch and let us know. Soundbite answers and longer articles will be published here.

Lou W: Druidry challenges me to craft more honourable relationships and for me, the great beauty of moving towards a sustainable approach to food is that while my actions are directly benefiting the land and supporting those who work ethically and responsibly with it, at the same time I am more deeply nourished, body and soul. In making sustainable choices I hear my food's story more clearly and perceive more of the threads that connect us all, our food, those who grow and deliver it, our land, our ancestors and descendants. That helps me to make better relationship.
