YULE CRAFT MARKET /  FAYRE
Dean Corner Farmhouse, Broseley, Shropshire

Tree planting will take place in the morning of the yule fayre. We will be planting native trees to improve the environment and to improve the habitats of wildlife. The tree planting event has been sponsored by Pertemps and The Woodland Trust and supported by BBC Breathing Places, as Wyldwoods is a Breathing Places partner. Volunteers will take part in planting trees including hedgerows around the preimeter of Wyldwoods.

If you can contribute to our Yule Market / Fayre  by bringing a Stall / Demonstrating or knowledge you can share, we have pitches available at a small cost of £20.

All stall holders/ demonstrators will need to bring their own awnings, tents, tables and chairs, however the site will be open the day before the event for setting up if required.   All stalls and displays need to be set up by 10am on the day.

BEAR FEAST 2009
Ancient Technology Centre, East Dorset

Bear Feast 2009 will be held from the evening of Friday 18th December until around lunchtime of Sunday 20th of December at the Cranborne Ancient Technology Centre in East Dorset. It will be a fully residential event, accommodation is in either a Celtic Roundhouse or Viking Longhouse. There will be a shared supper on Friday evening, other meals will be provided and there will be a full programme of speakers, entertainment, and of course the Bear Hunt Games and Bear Feast itself.

The price now includes 2 nights accommodation (in either Roundhouse or Longhouse), all meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday, plus speaker/entertainment. We will be having a shared meal on the Friday evening.

We are allowing those on our mailing list a week to buy tickets before we advertise them elsewhere as there has been a lot of interest! We would urge you to buy your tickets asap to avoid disappointment.

Subject to final English Heritage confirmation, the Cor Gawr Gorsedd midwinter gathering will be from 4:30pm-6:30pm on Sunday 13th December 2009. Those with tickets should gather from 4pm in Stonehenge car park. Please ensure you bring your tickets with you as you will need the pass to enter the car park. The car park must be cleared by 7pm.

Tickets are available only in advance, subject to confirmation by EnglishHeritage, price £2 each.

Tickets will be on sale from the Autumn Equinox 22nd September. Please order early to avoid disappointment!

The rites are facilitated by members of the Glastonbury and other Orders of Druids and the Loyal Arthurian Warband. They are held on the nearest Saturday to each date of the festive wheel. Midday for One, (although we don't usually start much before 1.30pm, sometimes later) meeting at and in the garden of the Red Lion.

The Anderida Gorsedd is a Druid group, facilitated by Damh the Bard and Cerri Lee, that has been holding regular open rituals at the Long Man of Wilmington since Spring Equinox 2000.

Anderida Gorsedd open Winter Solstice ritual. Meet 1.30-2pm near the Long Man of Wilmington car park, for a walk up the hill at 2pm. Then after retire to the Giants Rest pub for a social drink.
