Sun 01 May
TUATHA DE BRIDGET - IMBOLC
Pollok Country Park, Pollokshields Road, Glasgow

We meet in the Burrell Museum Car Park in Pollok Country Park, Pollokshields Road, Glasgow at 13.00 hrs on all festivals except on MidWinter/Eponalia which is one hour earlier at 12.00hrs (to allow folks to get home afterwards in daylight if possible).

We walk through the North Woods, past the pond and then go ‘off road’ through the woods to the ancient earthworks site where we hold our ceremonies. Once the ceremony is over, we wander back through the woods and normally go into the café inside the Burrell Museum for a hot coffee/tea/chocolate and many have something to eat also. We are children and dog friendly provided both are kept under control and any dogs are kept on a lead during the ceremony. For those with a reduced mobility, there is a shorter walk to the ancient earthworks site or it is permissible to use disability scooters inside the park.

*Warning, the site is not near any toilets, the nearest are at the Burrell Museum, the nearest car park is also here.

On the plus side, there is a very nice shop inside the Burrell where you can buy a range of things from the silly wiggly worms to very beautiful artwork.
