Welcome to the New England and Canadian Maritimes pages of the Druid Network.
The purpose of this site is to be an online resource for New World Groves and solitary Druids.
We hope it becomes a place of sharing, connecting, and communing for Druid Network members and new visitors in New England and the Canadian Maritimes. We would greatly appreciate the support of groves and solitaries in this region to help build this section of the Druid Network web site. If you have activities and events you would like listed or creativity to share, please contact the NEA Coordinator.
New England and the Maritimes are an exquisitely beautiful part of North America - rocky coastlines, ancient mountains, blueberry barrens, pine and spruce forest, maples, beech, birches, and oaks, rushing wild rivers and streams, beautiful still lakes and ponds, wild Nature in abundance. While the winter months are long and slow, deep darkness with bitter cold and snow, the growth season comes as an explosion of passion and activity. The time from the last frost of Spring to the first frost of Autumn can be as little as three months, 90 days. Change is the only constant in our region. The culture here is one of self-sufficiency and simplicity. The pace of life is slow compared to many parts of this continent. The powers of Nature aren't subtle here and the pagans in these lands honour them with respect and reverence. We are never far from being at their mercy. Community is very important in our region and we invite you to share and join in the druid activities here in New England and the Maritimes. We look forward to hearing from you!
Be well and blessings,
Snowhawk /|\
