The North American Wheel of the Year Project

Discovering Our Land and Gods

The first point in the Plan of Action for TDN-NA is "Discovering Our Land and Our Gods." In keeping with that, all of our regional coordinators are working to record a cycle of events that marks the passing of the year in each of their respective areas.

North America is vast. Because of that, the timing of the seasons - and, indeed, the nature of seasons themselves - varies greatly by location. Florida has little Winter, while Summer in Alaska means midnight sun.

This project area is meant to allow all of us to identify and celebrate the significant events in the Turning of the Wheel in our areas. The regional coordinators are working in this direction, and input is always welcome. If you have ideas, please look here to find your regional coordinator.
