Self Description
Mark: Mark.graham [at] rural-web [dot] org (tel 01509 891192) Sue: Suejohno [at] btinternet [dot] com Gordon: Walkers.moonrise [at] virgin [dot] net Sarah: Corn_mother [at] hotmail [dot] com We are based in England in Leicestershire's ancient Charnwood Forest, near Woodhouse Eaves, which is just south of Loughborough. We welcome everyone to our Caer Bann seasonal rites, which are held on Beacon Hill, Woodhouse Eaves every Equinox and Solstice:
Meet at Beacon Hill upper car park, 11.30am for 12. Bring a dish and share lunch in Woodhouse Eaves afterwards. Woodhouse Eaves is accessible by bus from Leicester on Sunday mornings. Beacon Hill Car Park entrance is £1.50 in coins. It is close to where we hold our rites and there is a free public toilet. A reasonably easy path is accessible with buggies and robust electric chairs. You can see for miles in every direction from this magnificent summit, the site of an Iron Age fortress. This long-established, friendly Grove has members from across the East Midlands, from a wide range of paths and with all levels of experience. Newcomers to Druidry are very welcome. Anyone attending Caer Bann rites can get more involved in Charnwood Grove by asking an organiser there for details. Please see our website for details of the training and social events we hold. Grove members also co-organise Druid Camp every year.
