Self Description

An international organisation, TDN aims to be a source of inspiration and information about the Druid tradition, ancient and modern. It is definitively not an Order itself, instead bringing together Orders, and individuals from across the board of the international Druid community.  Its website offers articles on everything from theology and mythology to the environment, interfaith, ethics and book reviews.  It includes a comprehensive directory of Druid groups worldwide, lists events, workshops and courses, offering online Druid courses free of charge.

TDN offers sponsorship of teaching events and environmental projects, supporting public rituals, eisteddfod gatherings and competitions, camps and retreats, encouraging the creative active expression of Druidry in its many forms.  For those who wish to subscribe to TDN, there are internet forums where members share ideas, inspiration and teachings.

Founded by Emma Restall Orr in 2002, TDN has around 60 members of staff and a constantly evolving body of people who contribute articles, stories, poetry and ideas.  There are sections in Welsh, Spanish, Brazilian, Dutch and French, with regional pages from across North America and Australia. It is a partner organisation of PEBBLE, and supports HAD, the Mistletoe Foundation, the Gorsedd of Cor Gawr, the Lammas Games and the Druid CampThe magical heart of the Network is the Druid Order of the Yew.
