~Our Mission~
The mission of The Fellowship of Solitary Druids (FSD) is to provide a network for information, a community for discussion, and a resource for inspiration to individuals who study the scholarly pursuits, ancestral traditions, and spiritual practices of Druidry. While embracing this path,we realize we cannot ignore the call of our own spirit; and driven to practice our spirituality alone - either by choice, by circumstance, or by geographic location we acknowledge this call and blend this philosophy within the context of our own lives and experiences; dictated not by dogma or doctrine, but by faith and wisdom of the old ways.
We are a fellowship... an organization... a network of kindred spirits who have chosen to affiliate under the spiritual banner of The Fellowship of Solitary Druids. Like many who have walked this path before us, we do not separate our spirituality from our everyday lives instead, it defines us and links us to the spirits of our ancestors; including the ancestors of our lineage, the ancestors of this spiritual practice, and the ancestors of the land in which we live.
As members of The Fellowship of Solitary Druids, we give honor to the Gods...the Goddess...the Great Mystery...whomever inspires us as individuals to walk in no one's footsteps...but our own. We seek not to preach what we have learned; simply to live what we have learned. We seek not to impose our spirituality on others but to find common ground in which we can share the Old Ways with all inhabitants of the Earth Mother.
Seeking to find our own spiritual relationship within the circle of life, we are the members of The Fellowship of Solitary Druids - walking a solitary path as spiritual warriors dedicated to Druidic philosophy; seeking not to recreate our world, but to, once again, become part of it.
