Self Description
Dragon and Oak started as a reflection of the personal efforts and study to find synergies between modern Druidry and eastern philosophies, principally, Tai Chi and other martial arts, Qi Gong and similar breathing and moving meditation skills, and the concept that by changing our own lives, we change and affect the world. It follows a three element philosophy: the Druid mind, the Samurai spirit and the healthy body.
Dragon and Oak is affiliated with the World Order of Druids (worldorderofdruids.org ) but there are no requirements that members or friends of either organization are required to be members of the other. We are also affiliated with a new Druid order in the Atlanta area The Druid Order of the Three Realms (druid3realms.ning.com)
