Self Description
We are the organizers of the Caer Dur Festival which is a ‘Pagan' festival held in the centre of Dorchester. The festival is non profit making and is held to promote Paganism locally in a positive way. The festival includes the Bardic Chair of Dorchester competition.
We hold a monthly moot on the last Wednesday of each month at Tom Browns, high street, Dorchester.
We welcome anyone with an interest in our rich and varied Pagan past and future; within our community individuals can pursue their own paths and draw on the knowledge and wisdom of all who gather around them, forging a common path to the future through the unity we create around us.
With many solitary supporters from different traditions; whether you consider yourself a Witch, a Druid, or a magician, or if you just have a general interest in Paganism Caer Dur welcomes you.
Our activities range from rituals to charitable events and are not generally advertised. We are a peaceful community building strength in unity. We are active in looking after ancient sites across Dorset.
Caer Dur has many friends across the World and welcomes emails from our associates as well as those interested to know more or who just wish to say ‘Hi'. If you live locally and would like to know more about us then please contact us to arrange to meet or just register your email and we will periodically send you information about Caer Dur.
We do not hold a membership application, if you would like to become a friend of Caer Dur, to receive newsletters or help with activities please email Melkin at heritage [at] caer-dur [dot] co [dot] uk
