The most frequent request for book recomendations I hear is, what reading material can you get for younger pagans. I now have the answer. The Green Man anthology is ideal for young adults. there's a hint of sexuality in some of the tales, but I suspect most pagan parents will be at ease with that.

The tales are diverse, but they each plunge you into The Forest. It is any forest, every forest, the place of magic, strangeness and possibility. And in it, there are so many stories. Not only do we meet various incarnations of the green man, but Herne is here, as are the fey, old gods, crazy folk and dreamers. Its an incredibly resonant collection, tapping into myth whilst offering entirely new stories. Beautifully written, with little illustratons by Charles Vess, its a good book for adults too. I loved it.
