Description Druidry is often described as the native spiritual tradition of the west. The druidic language, mythology and culture has come directly from our own ancestors. Interest in druidry is growing at an extraordinary rate. It is a compelling spiritual path that gives people a sense of inner belonging and of finding their roots. Above all druidry honours the spirits of nature and celebrates individuality and creativity. This excellent introductory guide includes: the story of druidry, from ancient times to modern day; the basic beliefs behind the tradition; the practices of modern druidry, such as herbcraft, healing, the druidic rites of passage and the eight festivals of the druid's year; how to find your nearest group. ReviewsReview One Review Summary Clearly written and inspiring Comments This book is magic. I came to it with an open mind and a desire to know more about Druidism. What I found was a well written and clearly presented book which captured the authors love for this approach to spiritual connection. The book presents a clear history of the Druids, their belief system and perhaps more enlighteningly, the practices. I loved the description of the setting-up of and using a sacred space, an alter of your own. I can't wait to go and set one up of my own.
