Rites of Passage

On these pages, we are building a collection of rituals for the rites of passage that mark the journey of our lives.

Rites of passage are considered profoundly important within the Druid tradtion, for it is with such rites that we acknowledge growth, change and release that are integral to each individual's path.

We invite members of the Druid community to submit rituals that they have written or created, that others may share their inspiration, teaching and guidance.

If you have rituals that you'd like to submit, to fit under the headings below or to begin other categories (such as puberty or eldership rites), please feel free to send them to Rites at Druid Network.

There is no format or style which a rite needs to comply with, as long as it is sufficiently within the tenets of the tradition to be rocognized as such.

First Rites for Babies and Children
Handfastings or Marriage Ceremonies
Initiation and Dedication Rites
Rites of Separation
Rites of Passing and Remembering
