Druid procession and ceremony,as part of the Tenbury Mistletoe Festival. Meet at Midday at the Rose and Crown Burford, on the A456, then process over the bridge, into the Town and into the park where the Ceremony of Blessing the Mistletoe will be done by the River Teme.

A Pagan Animistic celebration of Midwinter combining moving ritual with silly games, great entertainment and a wonderful fireside atmosphere.
A not-for-profit event and all proceeds go to Survival International and the ATC. The venue is an extraordinary outdoor education centre in Cranborne, Dorset. The Cranborne Ancient Technology Centre has a wonderful collection of reconstructed ancient buildings. See the website for pictures and more information.

THE GORSEDD OF BARDS OF COR GAWR MIDWINTER GATHERING
Stonehenge, Wiltshire
Limited access, date subject to alteration.
The Gorsedd of Cor Gawr meets at Stonehenge and within the surrounding sacred landscape to hold gatherings and ritual to honour the time of year, the land and the path of the Bard and Druid. Join us as we gather at midwinter to honour the darkness and mystery of this time of year.
The midwinter gathering will be from 4:30pm-6:30pm on Sunday 19th December 2010. Numbers are strictly limited and tickets are available only in advance from the Autumn Equinox 22nd September. Please order early to avoid disappointment! Arrangements are subject to final confirmation by English Heritage, and ticket application arrangements will be confirmed shortly.
Those with tickets should gather from 4pm in the Stonehenge car park. Please ensure you bring your tickets with you as you will need the pass to enter the car park the temple. The car park must be cleared by 7pm.

SOUL OF THE EARTH BOOK LAUNCH
Chapel Arts Centre, Lower Borough Walls, Bath BA1 1QR
"Soul of the Earth" is the flagship title from local small press Awen Publications (founded 2003 in Bath). Featuring 21 poets from around the world (UK, USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand) the Awen Anthology of Eco-spiritual Poetry is to be launched on the winter solstice, 21st December, at Chapel Arts Centre, Bath, with a bardic extravaganza of poetry, music and dancing. Contributors will be performing extracts and signing copies, which can be purchased at the special launch price of £10*. Supported by Cyprus Well and Hurtwood Ltd.
£5 on door (entitles a £5* discount on the book).
