Review by Hawthorn
A very attractive book, covering the
traditional eight festivals of the year. The author draws upon different
religions and traditions, making links between them, stressing the universality
of our responses to the changing seasons. I didn’t feel that there was much new
information (though there is some), but the book is so beautifully put
together, with colour photographs and illustrations on every page, that it is a
pleasure to pick up and look at. It could be used to provide some ideas and
inspiration as each festival comes around, and would make a lovely present,
particularly for someone who’s relatively new to the Druidic/Pagan path.
