Groves Day Invitation

Tangwen's Grove is delighted to be hosting a Groves Day and Fire Element Celebration on Saturday 24th May 2008 from 12 noon 'til 6pm. Our venue will be The Studio and Stone Circle at Holycombe, Whichford, Warwickshire, about 40 minutes from junction 15 of the M40. Please come if you can: if you lead a Grove, are a member of one or are thinking of setting one up or are just interested in seeing what it's all about. It will be a fabulous day of sharing, community building and ritual. Please bring food and drink to share (vegetarian or vegan please), a chair for outside if you need one and a piece of wood from your land for the fire. If anyone has fire skills such as fire poi or juggling we would love you to bring your kit and share your skill with us. We look forward to seeing you on the day. Contact Sophie for further information.

If you are travelling a long way and fancy camping there may be camping space at Holycombe- check their website- or there is a camp site at Long Compton (3 miles from Whichford) called Mill Farm Camp Site

Ethical Mother and Baby

Submitted by Sophie on Thu, 06/03/2008 - 15:12.
Project Area:

I'm creating a new section on ethical products for mothers and babies within the Ethical Pages. I want to include a directory of websites offering these products and would love to include some articles by people who've aspired to being ethical parents, telling the story of their triumphs and pit falls. If you have any suggestions of websites, any products you've used and would like to recommend, or warn against, or a story to share, please contact me throught the contact form on the Ethical Pages.

A new article by our legal experts, Phil Whitehorse (with input from Gary Cousins), on just what our rights are when visiting ancient monuments and rambling in the countryside.  Very useful if you have any doubts, or to clarify what is law in your mind and clear away any unhelpful assumptions.
