Ethical Living

Welcome to the area of The Druid Network Website that looks at the way we live, our way of life, our choices and the tenets we use to make those choices.

The Druidry practiced through The Druid Network’s Constitutional Foreword places upon the individual, the responsibility to consider their actions in honourable relationship between themselves, the land and all the other lifeforms who express themselves through the Earth. It is now being demonstrated through empirical evidence that our continued existence on Earth, and the health of the Earth itself, is influenced by the choices we make.  There is also a growing amount of further evidence that highlights how the seemingly indirect actions we engage in can also affect this relationship.

Acknowledgement of this places a responsibility upon the individual to consider their own impact on the processes of life that keep us in realtionship with the Earth. Therefore TDN considers the impact  of our personal behaviour to be defined as a matter of Ethics. How those Ethics inpact on the wider world is considered to be defined as an Environmental issue.

This section of the site offers information through articles, web links and insights from TDN members. If you have any articles you consider may be suitable to add to the resources here, please contact us at ethics@druidnetwork.org.
