Occasionally an author or their publisher is kind enough to send us review copies of upcoming books, and we do our very best to provide both direct feedback and a review for this page.
Writing a review is hard, of course, and sometimes the reader will not enjoy what they are reading. And sometimes they will gush over how wonderful it is. We seek to give a balanced review in both cases; challenging where we find the need, and celebrating where we find new and welcome insights. In all cases we do try to give a clear guide as to the content of a book (or rarely to a piece of music download or CD).
