Following the initial rejection of the application to join Inter Faith Network UK (IFN) as a faith representative body The Druid Network, together with other interested bodies, entered into discussion with IFN regrading their current membership policy. These talks centred around a concern that the current membership policy didn’t reflect the multi-faith society of the UK and could also possibly lead to challenges on the grounds of discrimination. IFN put into place a strategic review to address these concerns and the outcome of that review, having been ratified at an EGM, is a change to a more inclusive non-discriminatory membership structure whilst maintaining the right of IFN to determine its membership. The Druid Network, in light of these changes, has expressed its wish to re-apply for membership of IFN and is currently in the process of submitting an application.
