As members of the Inter Faith Network for the UK, TDN is highlighting the importance of religious literacy during inter faith week (13th to 20th November 2022). Phil Ryder, chair of The Druid Network, writes:
The theme of #InterFaithWeek 2022 is to highlight the vital importance of religious literacy. In our increasingly digital world literacy goes beyond the conventional definition of reading and writing, it encompasses a wide range of communication skills and media platforms. We can use these media to help breakdown the barriers of ignorance and prejudice surrounding our diverse faiths allowing us to come together to recognise the challenges of our modern age and help each other overcome them.
