TDN is pleased to read the final Report by the Law Commission, “Celebrating Marriage: A New Weddings Law“. The report recommends adoption of almost all the points made by The Druid Network in its submission to the Law Commission a few years ago. If formally adopted into UK law it will make legal handfastings far easier to plan and carry through. It will allow outdoor venues, and independent celebrants will be able to hold authority for registration.
