The Druid Network supports the complaint raised by the Pagan Police Association, regarding the klaxon insensitivity of The Sun in its filler piece “Trouble Brewing”. Not renown for its serious journalism, The Sun displays a lack of understanding of religious festivals and pagan celebration that is close to being described as a potential Offence. We accept very few pagans would likely be reading this paper at all, but at least if they find one they’ll have no trouble starting their Beltane fires…
