The Druid Network has over the years put together Conferences – gatherings of speakers and performers – for the public benefit. They haven’t always been utterly successful and the 2015 Conference was cancelled due to a lack of ticket sales, while the Covid years have impacted later attempts. Nevertheless there were very well received Conferences in 2012 and 2010. It’s not easy, even for TDN, to put a large event like this together, and it relies on the enthusiasm and hard work of more than simply the trustees. Success is never guaranteed and in making grants for projects TDN has an optimistic view of outcomes.
